Close Out and Event Results Submission
When your trial or test is finished and you're ready to fill in the forms for your organizational venue, click over to the General Info tab. You may not see all of the options in the below picture depending on the type of test/trial you're currently running and what options are available from that organization.
Trial Application
For AKC trials, you can generate the Trial Application form. Make sure you have all of your club members, committee members, judges and their assignments done for the trial. All of the information will be populated in the report with minimal need to check a boxes.
Event Report
The Event Report will vary in many ways depending on the event you're running. Most events will generate a report for that event completed with as much information that LCSoft can offer. You'll still need to provide credit card details and some information, but things like event numbers, basic event information, entry counts, fee calculations and committee members in attendance will be filled in for you. If the organization provides secretaries with a PDF Fillable Form, then LCSoft will ship with or download the current form and fill in the data for you. You can then continue filling out the rest of the form and save it. Additional installation requirements for these fillable forms is Adobe Acrobat Reader or your PDF viewer of choice which can open and read XML-based Forms Data Format file (.XFDF) files.
Judges' Book Cover Sheet
For AKC trials, you can generate the Judges' Book Cover Sheet which will pull of the judges and their information from your LCSoft database.
Entry Forms
If for whatever reason you need to generate entry forms for your event, you can do so as well.
CSV Result Export
For AKC FastCAT events, the AKC provides a FastCAT E-Results Template Microsoft Excel file which can be exported to Comma Separated Value (CSV) format and submitted to the AKC. LCSoft can generate a CSV of similar format for speedy submission once your tests are completed.
Online Secretary Report
The AKC has published a Jotform page where CAT and FastCAT secretaries can close-out their tests and pay for their events. By clicking the "Online Secretary Report" next to the old "Event Report" button, you can open your default browser to the AKC Secretary Report page with it already filled out!
